Strength Foundations class in session

Strength Foundations

This 8-week course is designed to train your body be stronger, more powerful, and more dynamic when you dance.

You’ll learn how strength training unlocks your movement potential, which exercises in the gym help you when training in the studio (and what exercises you can skip), and how to schedule cross-training into your busy dance schedule.

Studio Shoe Policy
This studio has a strict shoe policy. Please wear clean, indoor-only sneakers (no street shoes) to help protect the floors.
No Class: July 5
There will be no class during the week of July 5. The course still spans 8 sessions between June 7 and Aug 2.
Hip Hop Intensive in session

Hip Hop Intensive

We will apply the foundations of Hip Hop freestyle with drills and exercises to improve your musicality, level changes and dynamics, and build a more natural, unique flow.

We will be dancing to Hip Hop across decades and sub-genres, and exploring how the change in music informs changes in movement.

Not recommended for absolute beginners. Dancers should already have a strong grasp of foundational Hip Hop steps and feel comfortable learning, applying, and exploring movement independently.

House Intensive in session

House Intensive

We will use the foundational House Dance steps and techniques to improve your personal dance style.

We will use exercises and drills to improve your movement quality, connection to House music, transitions between steps, get comfortable with the floor, and make your House dance feel effortless.

Not recommended for absolute beginners. This intensive moves at a faster pace and is designed for dancers already comfortable with foundational House steps, and feel comfortable learning, applying, and exploring movement independently.

Strength Lab

Strength Lab is for dancers who want strength training to be a steady part of their week. With structured programming and coaching support, you learn how to push, pace, and challenge yourself in a sustainable way.

This is where dancers feel the long-term benefits of consistency— more power, more control, and movement that feels supported from the inside out.

Dance Intensives
There are no make-up classes for intensives. You can transfer to a different intensive with 48 hour notice. Last minute notices are considered void and non-refundable.

Strength Foundations
There are no traditional make-up classes for missed weeks.

Instead, we offer flex credits so you don’t lose your value if you miss a session.

  • Up to 2 flex credits may be used in Strength Lab
  • Credits unlock after completing the 8-week program
  • Must be used within 2 weeks of course completion

Dance Intensives
Drop-ins are allowed if spots are available.

Strength Foundations
This is an 8-week cohort, so we don’t offer drop-ins.

Enrollment is open to dancers 16+.

Participants under 18 require parent or guardian consent.

We may occasionally capture photos and videos during class for promotional and marketing purposes. Any filming conducted by our team is done intentionally and minimally to help preserve the class experience for all participants.

If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please email [email protected] before the event, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Dance Intensives

Strength Foundations
Course spots are non-transferable and tied to the registered student.

All purchases are non-refundable, except in rare circumstances.

To protect Kerry Hall’s floors, all participants must wear clean white, clear, or non-marking shoes inside the studio.

Black or colored soles, outside shoes, heels, and bare feet are strictly prohibited.

To help maintain a focused, distraction-free environment, personal recording during class is not permitted unless otherwise stated by the instructor.

We’ll let you know when designated recording moments are available so everyone can stay fully present throughout the experience.
