Terms and Condition

Welcome to The Arete Project LLC ("We" or "Us") in-person classes, courses, and workshops ("Program"). These Terms and Agreement ("Agreement") govern your participation in the Program. By registering for the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Registration and Enrollment

  • You are not officially enrolled until both the subscription and/or drop-in class fee has been paid and the registration form signed.

2. Cancellations

  • We reserve the right to cancel the Program due to insufficient enrollment or studio owner issues. In such cases, any remaining contribution will be refunded.
  • We reserve the right to cancel lessons/workshops due to force majeure (unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, like weather, pandemics, strikes, health/transport issues). In such cases, any remaining contribution will be refunded.

3. Payment and Refunds

  • All purchases are final. Refunds are only possible in the aforementioned cancellation cases.
  • By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the two-month installment payment plan. All payments are non-refundable and irrevocable. Refunds or cancellations are permitted only under the cancellation circumstances stated in this agreement.

4. Filming and Photography

  • We may film and photograph class parts for our website, social media, and email content. Your registration signifies your consent to this use for communication, promotion, and internal coaching purposes.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time before start of program by emailing [email protected].
  • Student filming and photography is not allowed without the teacher's consent.
  • Third-party filming or photography during lessons requires a prior written agreement.

5. Attendance and Transfer Policy

  • No make-up classes are available.
  • Transfers of any kind are strictly prohibited.
  • Complimentary or drop-in class credits are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another individual under any circumstances.

6. Aether Policy

  • To protect the integrity of our facilities, all participants in classes at Aether Seattle are required to wear white, clear, or non-marking footwear. The following are prohibited:
    • Shoes with black or colored soles
    • Outside shoes
    • Heels
    • Bare feet
  • Compliance with this footwear policy is mandatory. Participants who fail to adhere to this requirement will be removed from the class, and no refunds will be issued. By attending any class, participants acknowledge and agree to comply with this policy in full. This policy is final, and no exceptions will be made.

7. Intellectual Property

  • You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, resell, or exploit any part of the Program, its use, or access without our express written permission.

8. Personal Property

  • We are not liable for lost or damaged valuables, personal property, or attire unless proven due to our negligence. You are responsible for your belongings. Expensive items are not recommended.

9. Medical Disclaimer and Health & Safety

  • Program participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for any issues arising from your participation (except where liability cannot be excluded by law). We do not guarantee specific results but strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information; we are not liable for claims arising from inaccurate information.
  • You are responsible for informing us of any existing or potential injuries, disabilities, medical conditions, or behavioral issues impacting you or your participation. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by your failure to disclose relevant health information. Please bring any necessary medications and inform staff. We reserve the right to refuse entry or exclude participants if we believe important health or safety information has been withheld. You are responsible for taking precautions against infectious diseases.

10. Termination

  • We may terminate this Agreement for student misconduct or disruptive behavior that hinders the learning environment or others' safety.

11. Entire Agreement

  • These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Arete Project LLC and participants regarding all in-person classes, courses, and workshops. By registering for or attending any event, participants agree to these terms, which override any prior representations, agreements, or understandings.
